Common questions

The app does not find my camera.

Check that the device is on the same network and try “Add by address” with the camera's IP: the app probes the known stream paths by brand. Some cameras only answer on a non-standard port — the scan tries the common ones.

It found the camera but there is no video.

Almost always the credential. Open the channel settings and fill in user and password, then tap “Detect path”. If the camera answers but no path works, its firmware may use a path outside the known list — send us the model and we will add it.

The image freezes every few seconds.

Some firmwares restart the stream identity mid-session; the app detects this and reconnects on its own, and prefers the sub stream on cameras where the main one is unstable. If it keeps happening, tell us the camera model.

The camera has no pan/tilt in the app, but it moves in the manufacturer's app.

Some cameras only expose movement through the manufacturer's cloud, not through ONVIF. luneto controls cameras locally, so those stay video-only.

Where are my saved cameras stored?

In the app's configuration folder on your device, in a file only your user account can read. See the privacy policy for the exact path per system.
